This lively and aromatic Chardonnay is bright and crisp with notes of fresh green apple, Meyer lemon, white peach, and melon, accompanied by delicate notes of Tarte Tatin and brioche toast (a nod to the well- integrated French Oak).
2011 —like 2010 before it— was a difficult year with cooler-than-average temperatures and significant rainfall leading into the harvest in mid-October.
Sourced from a steep vineyard site at over 2,000' in elevation, the Rockfall Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon features an impenitent wildness that expresses the rugged growing site above the fog line.
